I am eternally grateful to my Heavenly Father who chose me to be one of His own and allowed me to be born into in a Greek family that worshiped our Lord Jesus Christ with passion and devotion. I have been blessed with a deep evangelical Christian heritage that traces back through several generations to the 19th century and the Ottoman Empire.
Words cannot express how thankful I am that our Lord brought Richard into my life to be my husband and then gave us joyous decades of ministry together. Though he never learned my native tongue, he did recruit me to be his “living Greek lexicon” when writing and preparing messages. In fact, whenever asked if he knew any Greek, his response was always: “Yes, I know a little Greek” … only to then turn and wrap his arms around me.
I am also indebted to the members of the Board of Directors and Advisory Council of Pray-Think-Act Ministries. They, along with their wives and many of our dear friends, have faithfully and sacrificially supported and sustained this ministry with their prayers, counsel and treasure for over thirty years. Their support extends to the publication of this little book of poems.
And finally, I’m deeply appreciative for the work of
our precious friends, Steve Westbrook and others who
helped edit these poems. Thank you so much.
